MaryClaire "Murnie" Murnan
Athletics have always been a part of Murnie’s life. Murnie played competitive soccer for 10 years, and when she attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha she won the National Soccer Championship. The competitions included 24 hours of horseshoe hell, which is a 24 hour outdoor sport climbing competition. The joy of rock climbing led her to work at the outdoor venture center where she focused on teaching and coaching rock climbing and creating routes for her clients. After completing her degree in exercise science, Murnie enhanced her expertise as a rock climber with certifications as personal trainer, performance enhancement specialist, and corrective exercise specialist. As Head Coach of the Shaker Rocks' Youth Competetive Team, Murnie values serving and connecting with people to help them reach their full potential to soar
